The partnership

Devashish has worked with Clan Alpha Studio since the start of his digital presence, and the engagement continues. What began as a positioning exercise now runs as ongoing editorial and strategic work, with each publishing cycle building on the position established at the outset.

The brief

Devashish arrived with 14 years of experience in the development sector and a record built on delivery rather than publishing. His authority was established among the people who had worked with him and was largely invisible to everyone else, which meant funders, peers, and future clients had no way to find it. The work was to locate that authority precisely and give it a digital form.

What we did

We began with market scoping to establish where his thinking would carry weight, who was already reading in that space, and which conversations his experience gave him standing to enter. That scoping shaped his positioning, which we built on the specific territories his career had earned him, covering AI in monitoring and evaluation, Global South AI governance, digital public infrastructure, and Nigerian health systems.

From there, we built the strategy that turned his position into published thinking. We set a house style matched to how his sector reads, using short declarative sentences, precise numbers, and operational vocabulary. Every piece closes by tying its argument back to its own domain expertise, so the thinking and the positioning arrive together rather than competing for attention.

What has it led to?

His organization brought him on to run a full newsletter published on the company website alongside his own LinkedIn, which turned his personal positioning into an institutional asset. The visibility carried further from there, into a promotion, speaking engagements, and a steady flow of opportunities that now reach him directly.
